Swimming Coach Required

We are looking for a swimming coach to support our PE staff with after school swimming clubs on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon.

Monday–3.15pm to 4pm for a Primary 2/3 development class age 5 to 6 year olds.
Tuesday–3.30 to 4.30pm for S1-6 optional activity session age 12-18 years old mixed ability.
Thursday–3.15 to 4pm for Primary 4 to 7 with senior optional activity 3.30 – 4.30 crossing over.
Friday–3.30 to 4.30pm for S1-6 optional activity session age 12-18 years old mixed ability.

With the younger children an assistant will be present to help the children change and to help supervise poolside.

Self-employed basis; £100 per week term-time only

Minimum requirements for coaching would be:

  1. National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC)
    Or National Pool Lifeguard Award (NPLQ)
  2. Relevant coaching experience and up to date PVG.
